Nick has made a study the ritual objects of the Plains people of North America, and the shamans and tantric practioners of Mongolia, Tibet and Siberia. He is an experienced shamanic drum maker, craftsman, artist, and ceremonialist.

Outside of workshops with confirmed dates, he offers one to one and small group work on the following subjects (these can be arranged to suit you - either mid week or weekend).

Teachings can be for individuals, couples or small groups. They are held at Nick's studio home in the village of Abercych, North Pembrokeshire.

COST: by negotiation, but generally around £100 per day plus the cost of any materials used.

THE CRAFT OF THE RATTLE
(2 full or half days - but needs an overnight for rawhide to dry as part of the making process)
Making and empowering a rawhide medicine rattle and exploring how to use it for healing, ceremonial and energy work.

ALTARS AND SACRED OBJECTS
(1, 2 or more full or half days)

Ways to get to grips with the traditional tools and sacred objects of shamanism. Building and maintaining altars, creating and tending bundles, working with feathers, rattles, and drums making offering and the use of sacred objects for intent, prayer and ritual.

BEADWORK
(1 or 2 full or half days)

Individual teachings about beads and beadwork (peyote and/or lazy stitch) for the complete novice or those with basic knowledge.

DRUM MAKING
(2 full or half days - but needs an overnight for rawhide to dry as part of the making process)
Working to make your own deerskin shamanic frame drum. Can include instruction on painting and empowering the drum as well as making your drum specific with you with the addition of tied on ritual or symbolic objects.

SACRED BUNDLE MAKING
(1, 2 or more full days)

Advanced teachings combining shamanic journeying and ceremonial craftwork. Contacting your Spirits and asking their help to make and empower the bundle that embodies your intent at this time.

These teachings are only suitable for those who have experience of shamanic journey work and have a strong relationship with their spirit helpers.

WORKING WITH CEREMONY
(1, 2 or more full days)

Working with ritual and ceremony for prayer, healing, holding spaces, protection and many other things. Using traditional ceremonies or finding your own way to work with ceremony.

SHAMANIC JOURNEYING - THE BASICS
(1, 2 or more full days)

An intensive chance to make contact with your spirits and learn about the shamanic journey.

SHAMANIC JOURNEYING - ADVANCED
(1, 2 or more full days)

Using journeying for healing, soul retrieval, working with the spirits of the dead and many other more advanced aspects of shamanism.

These teachings are only suitable for those who have experience of shamanic journey work and have a strong relationship with their spirit helpers.
